Moving forward

LM began a very important week yesterday with a 2-1 win over neighbor Haverford High. It was a must win for the defending Central League champion Aces to keep their league title hopes alive, having lost their opener to Conestoga last week. Senior Gian-Luca Hail and Arnold Meraz both scored goals to hold off the Fords. LM has another important league game tomorrow when they host Upper Darby at 3:45 PM.

The Aces kept their #7 ranking in the Inquirer Top 10, but Conestoga jumped over them into the #6 position. Haverford School still remains atop the rankings at #1.

This coming Saturday is the annual LM Soccer "Alumni Game", where past LM players will form a team and host a Radnor Alumni squad on Arnold Field. Tap off at Noon, followed by the 2014 Aces hosting non-league opponent Pennridge on the turf at 2:30 PM.
