LM Soccer Alumni Fundraiser

The 2014 LM soccer season is already into week 4 and hopefully you are getting all the Aces' results, as well as other LM Soccer Alumni news, right here at "Coach D's Blog".

I would like to tell you about our only LMSAA (Lower Merion Soccer Alumni Association) fundraiser each year, the "Steve Fountain Memorial Golf Tournament". It will be held this year on Friday, October 24th, at the Edgmont Golf Club in Edgmont, PA. There are many ways to support our funraiser, and the LMSAA, and you don't have to be a golfer.

If you go to our LM Soccer Alumni website at www.lmsocceralum.org and click on "golf invite" it will give you all the details and the history of the event.

*Here are the ways you can support the LMSAA.

A/ You can play in the golf event as a single golfer (which is a scramble format) and we can pair you up with other LM Soccer Alumni

B/ You can sign up as a foursome and bring 3 friends

C/ If you don't golf you can sign up to be one of the sponsors, or, you may know someone who would like to be a sponsor and get a little publicity & goodwill for their company. Many of you found sponsors for us last year and it was greatly appreciated. This is the life blood of our fundraiser. The golf invite explains how each type of sponsorship works. We are in need of sponsors at all levels.

*There are 2 ways to register as a golfer, a sponsor, or to make a donation

1/ pay online at our LM Soccer Alumni website: www.lmsocceralum.org
* at the home page click on the Golf Invite
* scroll down to review all the sponsorship & golfing opportunities
* click on "click here to register" and fill out the registration form
* scroll down again and click on the package that best fits your situation
* click on "submit" and your info will be recorded
* then, if you just want to make a donation click on "Donate"
* or, click on "proceed to purchase golf package" and that will take you to the web store

2/ mail a check for the appropriate amount, made out to "LMSAA", to our LMSAA treasurer, Jim VanDusen (LM class of '89) to the following address:
