Tonight LM traveled to Ridley for another Central League contest. Ridley has had a down year, and is looking for their first win of the season. Unfortunately for them the Aces weren't about to let that happen.
Early in the 1st half sophomore Tim O'Hare continued his outstanding play scoring LM goals 1 & 2. Next it was junior Max Shapiro's turn, adding goal #3. Later in the half Ryan Tillman took a nice pass from O'Hare and made it 4-0 at intermission. The Aces' defense put a wall around Senior keeper Sabastian Jenkins, as the Raiders never threatened.
In the 2nd half it was more of the same. Senior David Novacich notched the 5th and final goal as coach Severini emptied his bench. This league win put LM at 8-0-1 (11-0-2 overall), and now it's a 2 horse race for the Central League Title. The Aces host a good Radnor team on Thursday, hoping to not get caught looking ahead to the showdown game with Conestoga next Tuesday (under the lights at the Pioneer's field at 7 PM).
