Coming up a week from this Friday is the "Steve Fountain Memorial Golf Event", which is the LMSAA's (Lower Merion Soccer Alumni Association) only fundraiser each year.
Money raised from the golf event, as well as in kind donations, go to fund the LMSAA's many charitable activities, including; 2 annual scholarship awards to deserving LM boy's senior soccer players, the LM Soccer Hall of Fame, community outreach 1 day soccer clinics, contributions to the Steve Fountain education foundation, and much more.
I want to thank all of the people who have signed up to play in this year's event so far on Friday, October 14th, at Loch Nairn Golf Club, all those who are involved with sponsoring the event, and all those who have generously donated to the cause.
