Next Monday pre-season practice begins for the 2011 LM boy's soccer season, the 87th in the school's history. They will be looking to build on the 868 total wins that the boy's varsity soccer teams have accumulated since 1924, a record that each one of you can feel proud that you're a part of.
To see all the LM boy's soccer stats, from 1924 thru 2010, visit our brand new LM Soccer Alumni website at: lmsocceralum.org. On this new website you will find varsity stats, jv stats, freshman stats, all-league selections, playoff stats, individual & team records, video clips, photos, news of past, and upcoming LM Soccer Alumni Events, Coach D's Blog, and much more. The website is 95% complete, so there are still a few things to be added, as well as a couple of typos to correct. Bookmark the site and be a regular visitor.
Finally, the "LM Soccer Alumni Weekend" is only 5 weeks away (September 16 & 17th) so I will be contacting all of our LM Soccer Alumni in the next couple of weeks, via email, to see who plans on attending which events. We will need a count for all those planning on taking the guided "Tour of the new Lower Merion High School" (so we have the proper amount of tour guides), those planning on playing in the "Alumni Game" (so we have the right number of jerseys), and those family members & friends who will be watching the "Alumni Game" and having lunch with us afterwards (so we have enough lunches for everyone).
For those who want to take part in the "Steve Fountain Memorial Golf Event" you can get all that info on the website, and register there as well.
