C. B. East, who defeated the Aces in the State Quarter-Final and are the lone District 1 team left in the State playoffs, beat Central Dauphin 2-1 in the semi-finals and will move onto the State Championship game against Hempfield from District 3, a 2-0 winner over Pittsburgh Central Catholic. This is C. B. East's first ever appearance in the State Final game.
The ACES (19-2-3) were ranked 2nd in both the Inquirer & Southeastern PA Coaches final Soccer Polls, behind C.B. East (17-5-3).
