After a heartbreaking 1-0 loss Thursday to arch-rival Strath Haven, the Aces bounced back strong this morning with a 5-0 blowout of Methacton, their 8th shutout of the season. LM now stands at 10-2 overall, and 6-1 in league play, with 6 games remaining in the regular season schedule. This coming week has LM hosting Penncrest on Tuesday (3:45 PM), and traveling to Marple on Thursday (3:45 PM), both league games.
This coming Saturday the annual “Alumni Game” will kick off at 10 AM sharp, on the turf at Arnold Field. It will match our LM Alumni squad against a Radnor Alumni Team, followed by lunch, provided for all LMSAA members in attendance (players are asked to arrive at 9:15 AM). At noon, the current Aces will take on Interboro in a non-league contest. We are still looking for more LMSAA players (and supporters) to bolster our LM Soccer Alumni team, so if you’re interested, and already haven’t done so, please email me at: bubdavidson@comcast.net asap.
